About Us

Floridom, Inc. is a Florida-based corporation established in 1994, specializing in legal software and seminar production for Family Law Attorneys, CPAs, Financial Planners, and Child Custody Evaluators, as well as Florida Family Courts. The products feature all of the major computational functions needed by professionals handling divorce cases: financial statements, child support calculations, alimony/maintenance calculations and property division, as well as other major litigation functions related to filing suit, managing witnesses and managing documents.

In 1994, Floridom released its first software model – Mediator 2.01 – a computational DOS based program that created integrated and automated Child Support Guidelines Worksheets, Financial Affidavits, and Equitable Distribution Worksheets. It also computed Federal Income and Employment Taxes and guidelines computations under Florida Law.

In December, 1994, Floridom was invited by the Florida Bar to Amelia Island to display its newest product – Mediator 3.01 – against other competitive products at the Family Law Section Retreat for Hands-on Computers for Family Lawyers.

In May, 1995, Floridom was asked to provide a one hour seminar on the benefits of computational software at the Florida Circuit Judges Advanced Judicial College. Shortly thereafter, The Mediator program enter its final DOS base stage

In September, 1996, Floridom introduced its first Windows based product, Mediator for Windows. This enlarged and simplified product has taken the market by storm.

In 1999 DPA was chosen by Nova Southeastern University for utilization in their Family Law Paralegal training program. Community Colleges and Law Schools have caught on and Floridom is in the process of designing a student version for the program.

The newest version, Divorce Power Analyzer, was introduced in 2005.

In 2007 Floridom began producing its training by Webinar and began comprehensive Family Law CLE Programs. From 2007 to the present Floridom continues to work on improvements and enhancements as well as Legislative changes within our DPA programs.

DPA has been further improved to allow expanded network capability. Also, additional modules are scheduled in future years which will attach to the existing database to make optimum use of all existing data to perform multiple functions.

In January 2020 Floridom released our Cloud/Web version making it much easier for Attorneys, Paralegals and the Court Systems to access DPA from their Mac, Desk Top, Lap Top, I-Pad and some cell phones. This has been a great success for our clients and Court personnel during the difficult time America is facing with the pandemic. We have been able to continue providing all DPA users with Account Services and Technical support while they adjust to working from home.

The President and CEO of Floridom, Inc. is Marlene Levin. Marlene has worked in Family Law Offices since 1982 in administrative positions and has tremendous insight into the needs of the small family law office. She served as Vice President of Floridom from 1996 to 1997 and became President in 1998. Her experience and leadership is providing for the growth of Floridom.

Author of Floridom, Inc., Norman D. Levin is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a Board Certified Marital and Family Law Attorney. Mr. Levin is a Past Chair of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, former Chair of the CLE Committee of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar and served as a member of the Executive Council of the Family Law Section from 1994 to 2003. A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, Mr. Levin is a noted lecturer who has spoken at programs sponsored by the Florida Bar, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the ABA, and other Bar Associations and organizations.

Sales/Account Executive, Debra Huber became a member of the Floridom family in 1996. Debra’s responsibilities are to manage sales and accounts for Floridom. Her knowledge and exceptional record keeping of all of Floridom customers is her forte. You can call Debra with questions about your accounts and she will provide any answers needed.

Technical Support, Noel Salvi became a member of the Floridom family in 2005. Her knowledge of all of our software is impeccable.  She knows the ins and outs of every report and every aspect of all our products. Noel contributes her ideas and remarks to our programmer and assists with the development of DPA desk top and Cloud versions. Noel knows her stuff.  Noel also assists Norman with checking all reports and making sure all calculations are accurate. She also brings questions from court system or clients to the attention of our author and programmer

Programmer, Jim Thompson our programmer; has been with with Floridom in 2016. Jim programs our desk top and Cloud versions of all DPA products. Jim is constantly working with further improvements to allow expanded network and web capability.

Dr. James Rich, CPA examines and verifies the tax calculations in all DPA products. He is a Florida CPA and a Professor at the University of South Alabama.
